Intimidate

Intimidate (CHA or STR)

Intimidation is the ability to control the actions of others by instilling fear as well as convince others that you are willing and capable of of carrying out threats you make.

Intimidate can be used to get others to do what you want them to in the same way as Persuasion, but it cannot be used to improve characters’ relationships toward you. A failed Intimidate check against a non-Hostile creature reduces their relationship with the user by one step.

Characters gain a +5 circumstance bonus to Intimidate checks vs targets that are shaken or frightened.

Threat Display

Characters Trained in Intimidate may use the Threat Display ability:

Threat Display – Move Action – Encounter
Choose one creature within melee reach. Roll an Intimidate check. The target must succeed in a Will saving throw (DC 10 + ½ level + the result of the Intimidate check divided by 5) or become shaken until the end of your next turn.
