You manipulate the connection you have with vitae in order to sense living things around you.

You become aware of the number of living beings within 10 squares and gain a spell bonus to Perception checks equal to 5 plus 1 per level to locate invisible or hidden living creatures within range for 2 rounds + 1 per level.

During the duration of this spell, you may, as a minor action, analyze one creature within range. If you do so, you learn its current hit points and whether it is afflicted with a disease or poison.
